Privacy Policy
This policy explains how VPNHear handles data related to accounts, transactions and service use when providing its website, user panel and cross-border network acceleration subscriptions. The no-logs policy applies to network activity; account and billing information is still handled for the purposes described below. These should be understood separately.
Account Data and How It Is Used
No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are all you need. VPNHear processes usernames and information required for authentication to verify account ownership, maintain login sessions and provide subscription access. Do not include unnecessary personal information in your username or submit your password in a support ticket.
When you use a plan, this service processes subscription status, data usage and reset records to verify available allowances and account benefits. When you submit a support ticket, the issue description, attachments and related correspondence are used to investigate problems. Before submitting screenshots, conceal personal information and subscription credentials unrelated to the issue.
No-Logs Policy and Connection Handling
VPNHear follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users visit over international routes, store browsing histories, lists of destinations or communications, or use such information for profiling or advertising.
During transmission, the state required to establish and maintain a current connection is used only for real-time communication. Once the connection ends, it is not retained as a connection log that can be used to trace an individual's browsing activity. Account data usage is recorded to measure allowances and does not include a list of visited websites. Troubleshooting network issues is limited to necessary service-operation information and is not used to build personal browsing profiles.
Usage Analytics and Local Storage
Website analytics help us understand referral sources, reading activity and how entry points are used, so we can improve content and workflows. Analytics are limited to interactions with the website and user panel; they do not represent records of other websites accessed through an accelerated connection. Analytics events should not contain passwords, subscription credentials or support ticket content.
Cookies and browser local storage are used for session identification, login credentials, language preferences and necessary interface state. They are not used to store browsing history. You can clear this data in your browser settings; you may need to log in again afterward, and related preferences will return to their defaults. After using a shared device, sign out of your account and clear locally stored login data.
Order Records and Third-Party Payments
VPNHear retains the plan, amount, payment status and transaction-related information associated with each order to deliver subscriptions, verify payment results, process refunds and resolve transaction disputes. Available payment methods are Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Follow the process provided in the user panel to complete payment.
Payments are processed by third-party payment services, which handle information needed for transactions according to their own rules. VPNHear receives the results required to verify orders and does not ask users to submit payment account passwords in support tickets. Before visiting a third-party payment page, check the recipient details and order information, and read that service's privacy notice.
Retention Periods and Data Requests
Account data is retained for as long as needed to maintain accounts and subscription services. Support tickets and usage analytics are used only for as long as necessary to resolve issues, maintain the service and conduct analysis. When these purposes have been fulfilled, the data should be deleted or aggregated so that it can no longer be linked to individuals; it is not retained indefinitely for unspecified purposes.
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data through a user panel support ticket. Account ownership must be verified before a request is processed. Deleting an account may make subscriptions and historical records unavailable. Information related to open orders, refunds, disputes or legal retention requirements will be handled once the relevant matter has concluded or the retention obligation has expired. Backup data is cleared as backups are rotated; deletion is not guaranteed to take effect as soon as a request is submitted.
Data Protection and Policy Updates
Account and order data is used only to provide the service, respond to support requests and perform necessary transaction verification. Access should be limited to what each relevant task requires. You should also protect your password and subscription credentials, and promptly report any unusual activity through a user panel support ticket.
Updates to this policy will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top will be changed. Important changes to purposes of collection, data scope or user rights will be announced on the website or in the user panel. If a processing activity requires separate consent, the relevant information will be provided first. See the Terms of Service for usage rules.
